Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CoachPlate application and website (the "Service"), operated by AITHEOS LLC ("Aitheos," "we," "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

CoachPlate is a nutrition-coaching tool for personal trainers and their clients. Trainers manage client rosters, set targets, and review meals; clients log meals and progress. Nutrition estimates are produced by automated AI and are informational only.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create a trainer account. You are responsible for your conduct with clients or trainers you interact with through the Service.

3. Not medical advice

CoachPlate does not provide medical, nutritional, or health advice and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Nutritional values are AI estimates and may be inaccurate. Consult a physician before making health decisions. Coaching relationships and any advice exchanged are between the trainer and client, not with Aitheos.

4. Free tier and subscriptions

Trainers may coach up to 2 clients free. Additional client capacity requires a paid subscription purchased on our website through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can change or cancel your plan anytime through the billing portal. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Clients pay nothing while they are an active client of a trainer. A client who is no longer on a trainer's roster may optionally continue using the Service with a CoachPlate Solo subscription purchased through the App Store; pricing is shown before purchase, and the subscription renews automatically until cancelled in the client's App Store settings.

5. Referral program

Trainers may earn subscription discounts by referring other trainers who become paying subscribers. Discounts track active paid referrals and adjust if a referred trainer's subscription ends. We may modify or end the referral program at any time.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or access data that is not yours.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Do not use the Service to provide medical treatment or to coach in violation of applicable law.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (meal photos, logs, notes). You grant us a license to host and process it to operate the Service, including AI analysis by our providers. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aitheos is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
